NATIONAL RESTORATION TEAM [NRT] AT A GLANCE and NRT OBJECTIVES—HOW WE CAN HELP:
The National Restoration to Military Families Team, doing business as the National Restoration Team [NRT] is a 501C3, not-for-profit, community-based organization. Our Chartered members are comprised of leaders and family members from all branches of the armed forces and civilian communities, educators, and concerned citizens.
Target population: All Veterans and especially veterans and family members of the Global War on Terrorism.
NRT is an organism responding to inquiries from faith-based leaders and lay persons who continually ask ―what can be done…to assist deployed service members’ families, deployed service members, and fallen service members’ families? The founding and living legacy of the National Restoration Team [NRT] is an answer.
Mission: To empower communities to enhance the quality of life and support service members/veterans and their families (SMVF) through cycles of deployment.

Domestic Violence: Signs, Symptoms, Suggested Solutions—Getting ready to meet the new, violent-free, you.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder [PTSD]: indicators, behaviors, stories of veterans experiencing PTSD, referrals, and official definitions.
Grief Management: Good Grieving/Goodbye Mourning – Understanding the grieving process.
THEY ALWAYS HAVE CHOICES: Signs, symptoms, suggested solutions for individuals who may be considering suicide.
Re-entering Society and Re-uniting with Family – informational tools and reuniting techniques that may be used to understanding the changes experienced by those separated by circumstances from their families.
Living with Viral (infectious) Disease without Shame – you are not your circumstances. You are a child of God.
On Becoming a Professional Chaplain – the academics, the endorsements, the qualifications, the opportunities.
Informational Booklets and CD’s includes a listing of: VA Locations, what congregations and communities are doing for service members/veterans and their families (SMVF), suggested do’s and don’ts when conducting funeral/memorial services for military service members/veterans, and seven ways you can become involved.
